THE POWER OF MELATONIN

Melatonin is a very important molecule that acts on the skin in a special way:

- Repairing Action: helps strengthen the barrier function
- Antioxidant Action: protects from oxidative damage caused by lifestyle and environmental agents
- Protective Action: anti-aging

Its production progressively decreases and as age advances, the skin therefore tends to be dry and particularly fragile. The topical application of Melatonin, therefore, can represent a more than valid anti-aging strategy as it helps protect the skin from oxidative damage, contributing to the restoration of the skin barrier.
The new and exclusive technology studied by Cosmetici Magistrali allows this molecule to be conveyed in "Oleosphere": Melatosphere®, in fact, consists in incorporating and transporting Melatonin by dermo-affine oils (Rosa Mosqueta Oil, Avocado Oil and Opuntia Oil ), with the result of giving hydration and nourishment to dehydrated skin and with signs of moderate and severe aging. There are three products capable of acting in depth that help combat devitalized and very dry skin, perfect for a skincare routine for mature women.

A BIT OF HISTORY
Melatonin is a very ancient but recently discovered molecule: it appeared in living organisms 3.5 billion years ago, but only in 1958 was it discovered in the pineal gland as a hormone regulating the sleep/wake rhythm. In the mid-90s it was demonstrated that Melatonin is a molecule also present in plant organisms and unicellular microorganisms and, towards the 2000s it was discovered that this molecule is also produced by the skin, even 100 times more than in the brain .
